My name is John Johnson and I put a lot of mileage on this machine I'm sporting around town. Growing up I was a chunky, nerdy kid, who really couldn't make friends and was picked on way too much in school or just walking to the neighborhood corner store. I mostly kept to myself and read a lot whether at school or at home. I was always reading and had a wide range of interests.
Ironically, I was never interested in nutrition or thought much about it. I relied on others to tell me what to eat and when. It wasn't until much later in life that I became interested in bettering my health and undoing the damage that decades of eating meat and dairy and processed foods (and drinks) did to my body.
The journey was difficult, at first, because I didn't have support from friends OR family, but I had a good sense of discipline that helped keep me true to who I wanted to be moving forward in life.
I am not a doctor or dietician. What I am is someone who has been there and will take into account where you are at and ultimately who you want to be for the rest of your life. My aim will be to keep you on point with accountability check-ups, motivation, encouragement and workshopping your goals.
I've been studying nutrition science for 20 years. I've read countless research papers, books, and articles revolving around proven nutrition science. All to help me better my mental, physical, and emotional health. My sincere belief is that I can help you, too.
Please note that I don't offer a fast way to lose weight. There is no magic pill, potion, or excerise routine that is going to magically make a person the Adonis or Venus of someone else's dreams. However, I can help you understand your body and how to form a symbiotic relationship with it, where you will be able to respond appropriately to any yellow or red flag that is thrown on the play.
